Those are the towns we’re in most weeks. We work further out than that as well, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington, Galloway, Lancaster and Newark among them, so if your street isn’t on the list, call and ask. The only thing that would make us say no is being far enough out that we couldn’t get back to you quickly, and you’d hear that on the phone, not afterward.
A roof isn’t finished the day the dumpster leaves. If something shows up in year two, somebody has to come out and look at it. That’s why we stay close to home when we can, and it’s the only reason.
What your city wants isn’t what your neighbor’s wants.
Westerville doesn’t require a permit to replace shingles outside its Uptown district. Inside Uptown it does, and it wants a zoning certificate as well. So a reroof in Uptown is permitted work and one three streets away isn’t.
Hilliard requires a permit and requires the contractor to be registered with the city before they can pull it. That second part is worth knowing whoever you hire. Lewis Center isn’t a city at all, so Delaware County issues the permit and the township isn’t involved in a straight reroof.
Worthington and Delaware both have historic districts where the city reviews what the roof is going to look like before the work starts, not after.
